• Affiliate Program Data: If you voluntarily register as an Ambassador (Affiliate), we collect your legal name, bank name, and account number solely for processing commission payments.
• Technical & Usage Logs: We collect anonymous logs such as app version, device type, crash reports, and visit timestamps to maintain service stability and improve user experience.

2. How We Use Information

We utilize your data strictly for functional and personalized purposes:

• To authenticate your access and secure your saved tarot history.
• To generate insightful, customized tarot readings tailored to your questions using the Google Gemini AI model.
• To manage your "Tarot Credits" and Buffet subscription status across devices.
• To calculate and process affiliate rewards.
• To analyze aggregate traffic stats to optimize our technology and app performance.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your privacy is paramount. Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption provided by Google Firebase and Firestore. We implement robust security measures to prevent unauthorized access, data leaks, or alteration.

Crucially, we do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. Data shared with AI models (Gemini) is limited strictly to the text of your question and relevant context needed for generation, in compliance with enterprise privacy standards.

4. Third-Party Services

THEFOOL integrates specific professional third-party services to function. While we ensure secure data transmission, these services operate under their own privacy policies:

• Google GenAI (Gemini): Processes question text to generate readings.
• Firebase (Google): Handles data storage, database management, and secure hosting.
• RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases and subscription statuses securely across iOS and Android.
• Apple, Google & LINE Auth: Manages secure user login and authentication flows.
• Capacitor Plugins: Enables native mobile features like Filesystem and Social Sharing on your device.

5. Payments & Financial Data

When you purchase Credits or Buffet Subscriptions via App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), or PromptPay, we utilize secure, official payment gateways. We only receive confirmation of payment success or failure linked to your User ID. We do not process, see, or store your credit card numbers or banking credentials (except for authorized Affiliate payout details as mentioned in Section 1).

6. Your Data Rights (PDPA / GDPR)

Depending on your region, you retain full control over your personal data:

• Right to Access: You can view all your saved readings directly in the app's Grimoire/Collection section.
• Right to Erasure (Deletion): You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the app settings or by contacting us.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You can revoke your consent for data processing by deleting your account.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use Local Storage mechanisms on your device to save app states (such as current app version, cached assets, and pending questions to prevent data loss during network drops). This is strictly for functional performance. We do not use invasive third-party tracking cookies for targeted advertising.

8. Children's Privacy

THEFOOL is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account remains active to preserve your Tarot history. Upon initiating an account deletion request, we will purge your personal data and chat history from our active databases within 30 days.
